For most colleges, is there a time limit between when you apply to when you send your transcripts and test scores in? Other than the application deadlines, of course. I'm sure it differs with most schools, but is there a general rule with that?

just making sure on this one:
I've sent in my applications for UC's and CSU's. I don't need to send my high school transcript to each school, right? not until I've been accepted to them?

also,
what's the difference between a bachelor's degree of science (BS) and bachelor's degree of art (BA)?
im planning to make chemistry my major and both degrees are offered at most universities so I don't know if choosing one over the other will have any effects on my plans or if it matters.

I know I just posted a few days ago but I need some more help :(

I've been looking into schools and came across Full Sail. I'm interested in going for Game Development and was wondering if Full Sail is worth it. I've already read an article on GameDev.net and several other articles but I guess I'm looking for more personal opinions or experiences at Full Sail. I've talked to the 3 people I know who went there as well. What I got from them is that it was expensive, intense, but that they really loved it. I'm just trying to get a lot of different opinions on it since it's not feasible for me to travel down to Florida to check it out (I'm in PA).

Let me say that I do realize how expensive it is and I'm 100% sure that Game Dev is what I want to do. I'm NOT looking for an "easy" school, and I'm ready and willing to put in the hours required to do well wherever I end up going. I'm aware that credits don't transfer as well. So, with that being said.. can anyone tell me about their (or your friend's, or SO's, or whatever) experience at Full Sail, and whether you/they liked it or not? I'd reallyyyy appreciate any information you can give me.

I recently submitted my apps on November 26th, 2009 and afterwards, I realized that I made a few errors regarding course titles so I talked with a few friends and they told me to write an e-mail to info@ucapplication.net and I called 1 (800) 523-2048 as well just to be safe. I wasn't connected to any operators because they were already closed but I managed to leave a message.

Here are my errors (in case it helps clear up the situation in any way):

I am taking AP Government this year and I was able to mark this course under Social Studies during the fall semester however I failed to include in my application that I plan to take Principle of Economics as a College Prep Election for the spring semester.

Secondly, I included in the application that I took a Computer Science 1,2 course under 11th grade coursework in College Prep Electives. The class is actually called ROP Buisness and Computers.

So I was just wondering what I could do at this point. Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it.

Lunch for today: mini meatball sub.
Dang... As soon as I ate it and saw the photo, I knew it would have benefitted from something green. But it was tasty...

Meatball, sauce and mozzarella on bread, apple slices, apricots and a Reeses cup. :-)

Hey everyone.

I recently submitted an application to FIU. One of the questions on it was, have you ever been in trouble academically or whatever. What exactly does this include? Just to be safe, I said yes, and wrote about the ONE time I have ever gotten into trouble, which was a stupid little dresscode violation when I was in 11th grade.

Now I got a letter in the mail saying they need me to fax a written statement describing this in detail. I already noted in my application what it was for, and did not think it was a big deal at all because it's not like a criminal offense obviously, I just got a measly Saturday school. They're saying my document will be reviewed by the discipline people and they have to submit a recommendation for me to get accepted now. This kind of scares me :( What do you think my chances are? Should I have even listed that at all?

Thanks for any help, I'm kind of freaking out :(

I am selling Buffy Seasons 1-7 Region 1 DVDs on my LJ here to the highest offer. I have 100% positive feedback on eBay, and sold a bunch of comics here on LJ recently so I can offer references if needed. Also have some Angel: After the Fall/Aftermath comics and Buffy/Angel paperback books for sale.

Mods, if this is not allowed, I'll delete. Thanks.

We didn't have any leftovers from our Thanksgiving dinner (sniff - it was at someone else's house) so all I had to contribute to today's bento was the pie. But is was still yummy!

Spinach & red pepper quiche, cucumber weave, homemade bread with spinach and parmesan ribbon, radishes and pumpkin pie with crust squiggle.

This is, like, maybe the second or third time I've ever made an icon. I wouldn't have tried, but Adelle is too gorgeous to ignore. Anyway, here's the one I just made of her:

hello everyone!
i am currently at Cal State University Northridge. i am into my third semester there and unfortunately i realized i can't afford to go back next semester.
my question is, how does someone dis enroll from the college? it might seem like a silly question but i just haven't found anyone who can really help me.
my next question is, i took out around 2,500 in student loans to help pay for the semesters. do i have to pay them back as soon as i dis enroll because i am no longer attending the school? or do i still owe it back when i completely finish school.
i did plan to attend a community college this coming semester but because of these budget cuts, i'm not sure i can get into any classes.

i would really appreciate any help. sorry again if my questions are silly!

So.. I hope I am not offending anyone.. but since it was # 666 and that number is.. well.. the number of the Beast.. I thought I'd do a devilish bento to celebrate it. As an added, and unexpected bonus, I happened to find chili spahgetti today in an arab grocer. It is HOT! I bought it because it was red, but it also tastes differently than "ordinary" spaghetti. Definitely hot as h... ^_^

Bento # 666
